We are proud to announce that BEST Lab members Anlin Shaju and Aleesha K. Paulose have received the Bronze Award at the NYCU 2025 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Academic Poster Competition.

Their award-winning poster, titled“Interface Engineering via Anion-Driven SEI Coordination in Silver-Nucleated Lithium Metal Batteries,”was completed under the supervision of Prof. Yu-Sheng Su.

This research focuses on innovative interface engineering strategies for lithium metal batteries. By leveraging anion-driven SEI coordination and silver nucleation design, the team aims to enhance lithium deposition stability and overall battery performance. The work reflects BEST Lab’s continued commitment to advancing sustainable energy storage technologies and supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in clean energy and sustainable innovation.

The competition was organized by the Office of Sustainable Development and University Social Responsibility at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, with the award ceremony held on October 23, 2025.

Congratulations to our award recipients, and thank you to all team members and mentors for their support. BEST Lab will continue striving for excellence in next-generation battery research and sustainable energy solutions. 🔋✨
