We’re pleased to share that our recent study published in Small Structures has been featured by PanSci.
Our work shows that a “mismatched” electrolyte strategy—using Na⁺-based electrolytes with LTO anodes—can outperform conventional systems, delivering higher capacity and stable cycling. This finding challenges the long-held assumption that electrolyte ions must match the working ion in battery systems.
Beyond performance, this approach points toward more cost-effective and sustainable battery designs by leveraging abundant sodium resources.
